Häagen-Dazs Has 6 New Treats Headed To Stores and Fans Say 'It's About Time'

Whether I’m visiting the local ice cream parlor where my sister used to work at or whipping up a pint from scratch at home, ice cream has always been a staple dessert in my life. The simplicity of a scoop or two of the creamy frozen treat is hard to beat.

Growing up, my family stuck to reliable cartons of Breyer’s vanilla ice cream (and Ben & Jerry’s for special occasions), and these days, I can’t resist sampling different flavors from brands like Tillamook, Handels, and Häagen-Dazs.

With its luxurious flavors and high-quality dairy, Häagen-Dazs continues to be a top seller when it comes to frozen desserts. Last year, we saw seasonal favorites like the peppermint bark ice cream bars return, and newer finds like summery sorbets and Belgian waffle cones get introduced. Now, there’s a new lineup heading to grocery stores, and each item sounds more delicious than the last.

Häagen-Dazs Has 6 New Ice Creams Coming To Stores

The launch includes new ice cream bars in three mouthwatering flavors: Cherry Dark Chocolate Bars, Toasted Coconut Crunch, and Dulce De Leche.

The Cherry Dark Chocolate Bars come in a 3-count box and feature cherry-flavored ice cream swirled with a luscious cherry sauce and coated with rich dark chocolate. Also available in a 3-count box are the Toasted Coconut Crunch Bars, with creamy coconut ice cream coated in milk chocolate and studded with nutty, caramelized coconut flakes and crispy waffle cone bits. Both flavors will retail for about $6.49, though exact prices may vary depending on your location.

Meanwhile, the new Dulce De Leche bars are a miniature version of the standard ice cream bars, and will be sold in a 6-count package. These decadent desserts feature silky dulce de leche-flavored ice cream and are finished off with a generous coating of milk chocolate. Each box will cost about $7.49.

Next up, the ice cream brand is also adding three new flavors to its lineup, which will be sold in its standard 14-ounce cartons for about $6.99 each. The Dark Cherry Truffle takes classic cherry-vanilla ice cream and adds a chocolate truffle spin. Each carton of ice cream has cocoa truffles mixed in, along with swirls of tart cherry sauce.

The new Peanut Butter Brittle ice cream is also a play on a nostalgic candy. Creamy and nutty, each pint has peanut butter ice cream, praline-coated peanuts, and plenty of indulgent caramel-peanut butter ripples. Lastly, the Coffee Almond Toffee builds on a base of Brazilian coffee ice cream, adding complexity with buttery toffee pieces and chunks of California almonds for texture.

Ice cream fans were excited to hear about the launch, commenting on posts from Instagram user @candyhunting to share their thoughts.

“That peanut brittle flavor is calling my name!” wrote one commenter.

“Coffee Almond is banging, I’m telling ya!” shared another enthusiastic shopper.

Even those who aren’t big fans of ice cream were looking forward to giving the new flavors a try. “I don’t even like ice cream, but that dark cherry truffle one sounds awesome!” said one Instagram user.

Others are already anticipating the struggle to find their dream pints before they sell out. “Dark cherry truffle! Now if only I can find it!”

All six new items are rolling out now to select retailers nationwide. These tasty desserts are perfect for cozying up with your loved ones this Valentine’s Day or enjoying whenever the craving for a sweet treat strikes. Make sure to stock up on your next grocery run—you may just find a new favorite.
