Weekend Weather: Snow and rain in forecast for Montreal

Montrealers are in for snow and rain this weekend, just before the province’s winter tire deadline of Dec. 1.

Friday is expected to be mainly cloudy, with a chance of flurries through the day.

The daytime maximum is expected to be near 0°C and a low of -2°C. Gusts of up to 50 kilometres per hour is possible.

Saturday will be mainly sunny, with a high of 0°C. But wind chill of -8°C in the morning.

Forecasters say there will be periods of snow at night.

Sunday is expected to be snowy during the day, with periods of rain at night.

Temperature will be a maximum of 1°C during the day and -5°C at night.
