Quebec pharmacists’ union reaches agreement in principle with government – CityNews
The Quebec Association of Pharmacists in Health Establishments (A.P.E.S.) announced Sunday that it has reached an agreement in principle with the Quebec government on the working conditions of pharmacists in hospitals and CHSLDs.
A general meeting of members will be held in the coming weeks to review the agreement and vote on whether to adopt it. A.P.E.S. said it will not provide further details until members have had the chance to examine it.
The union represents nearly 2,000 pharmacists working mainly in integrated health and social services centres, university health and social services centres, and university hospital centres.
The last collective agreement with the government expired almost three years ago.
