UK-based travel agency that offers Disneyland holidays ceases trading with immediate

A travel agency based in the UK has now stopped trading – and its website is no longer available to access.

Simply Florida Travel Ltd ceased trading as an ATOL holder on January 20, the Civil Aviation Authority announced.

On the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) ATOL failures page, it says the company – which is based in Glasgow – traded under the name Simply Florida Travel.

It also operated through its website www.simplyfloridatravel.com.

The company’s destinations included Disneyland, Disney World, Universal Studios, New York, Toronto and Niagara Falls, as well as cruises.

Simply Florida Travel filed to be struck off the register on October 13, 2025, according to Companies House records.

It was then dissolved on January 6 this year.

It ceased trading as an ATOL holder on January 20. ATOL guarantees customers receive refunds if a company collapses.

Simply Florida Travel Ltd operated under a franchise arrangement with The Travel Trust Association (TTA).

Any affected customers should contact the TTA directly, the CAA advises.

A spokesperson from The Travel Network Group said: ‘Simply Florida Travel joined TTA in March 2024.

‘During their membership, they made 12 bookings, all of which were fulfilled prior to the business closing.

‘There are no outstanding bookings, no refunds due, no claims process required, and no customers who need to be contacted.

‘This was not a financial failure or insolvency situation. The business owner made a personal decision to close the company after completing all customer commitments.’

It’s not the first travel agency to go bust in recent months.

Ickenham Travel Group ceased trading as an ATOL holder on November 20, the CAA announced.

The UK travel company collapsed into liquidation after running for 55 years.

On the CAA’s ATOL failures page, it said the company – which is based in London – traded under the names Abu Dhabi Holidays, Ras Al Khaimah Holidays and Letsgo2.

Then earlier this year, Regen Central Ltd, which sold flights and hotel packages, ceased trading.

The UK travel company went bust after 17 years of operation – and no refunds were set to be issued.

Regen Central Ltd previously operated in Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East.

The company was founded in 2009 in Hertfordshire, specialising in package holidays.
