The legendary Chris de Burgh – 50LO Tour
To celebrate his 50th career anniversary, legendary singer/songwriter Chris de Burgh is undertaking a Canadian solo tour in 2026.
He will be offering his Montreal fans a unique solo performance of all his hits, including Spanish Train, Don’t Pay the Ferryman, A Spaceman Came Travelling, Patricia and naturally his worldwide hit Lady in Red which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026.
“The tour will be about referring back to when I started out, as a single guy with a guitar and piano. So it will be me performing and talking about the music, talking about the origin of the songs and their background.”
An enduring Irish singer-songwriter, Chris de Burgh (born in Argentina) is a master of soft rock/pop storytelling. Known globally for the massive hit “The Lady in Red,” his signature blend of romantic ballads and historical narratives has led to over 50 million albums sold worldwide. His most recent album *50*, was released in 2024. He’s celebrated for his poetic lyricism and distinctive vocal style.
