Little Manila food truck grows into restaurant
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Popular Filipino food truck Little Manila is opening up its first restaurant in Charlottesville.
It is the only Filipino restaurant in the area.
They will use the same menu and incorporate a few new recipes.
One of the owners says that it’s important to bring new cuisine to Charlottesville.
“One of the struggles that we have is people trying our food,” Co-Owner of Little Manila Fernando Dizon said. “First-time customers that we have, would like, think twice about trying it. But once they try it, a lot of them fall in love with our food.”
The restaurant is set to open in early September.
