Jewelry, tools, and more: San Antonio Police announce July 7 forfeited property auction


SAN ANTONIO – Police are inviting the public to bid on forfeited property at an upcoming auction on July 7, 2026.

According to a Facebook post by the San Antonio Police Department, doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on July 7 for registration and viewing, and the auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The event will be held at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 9186, 650 E. White, San Antonio, TX 78214.

Payment will be accepted by cash or credit card, but American Express will not be accepted. Police said all property must be paid for and picked up on the day of the sale.

The department said its Legal Asset Seizure Detail handles property confiscated by police during operations and investigates seizures to ensure laws are being followed.

The unit also conducts forfeited property and vehicle auctions, and posts notices with dates and times in the News Release section of its website and on the SAPD Facebook page.
